Whether its physical will or mental will, he tends to outlast most people on the sharper scales. Most of this stems from his stubbornness to not give in. He is a good example of a boy that can literally conquer anything through a force of sheer will. He doesn't easily give up, no matter how things may appear. This can also be considered as a great amount of determination. ■ Dependable When Koda makes a promise, he keeps it. Always. When you need him, whether or not he can help, he will be there to try. ■ Smart He's the kid you ask to join your study group if you want to pass your test. Koda has always been very good at school, keeping his grades above average at all times. He is also very well rounded, and likes to dabble in less popular subjects on top of his pre-college courses. ■ Excellent Cook Speaking of 'less popular subjects,' Koda is a Home-Ec wiz. His favorite dishes are of anything that involves some type of Italian base, but gets requests often for baked goods. His chocolate strawberry cake is to die for. ■ Optimistic Despite the trouble he faces most of the time, Koda has a bright outlook on life. Things always get worse before they get better, right? The good always comes along at some point or another. He just needs to believe and push through. negative points. ■ Shy Not exactly the social type. He has a difficult time making conversation or starting one, but once things get rolling, he can be quite talkative. Lots of reddened cheeks and eyes dropping to stare at the floor occur a lot when confronted with a stranger. ■ Careless No matter what decision he makes, Koda has a knack for putting himself in horrible situations. Things as small as taking on other student's club responsibilities or, running into thugs in a dark alley happens almost several times a week. Sometimes these happen on a whim, but most of the time, Koda does put himself there either by opening his mouth and speaking too quickly, or faced with a situation to prove himself. ■ Low Self Esteem Not thinking very highly of himself, Koda tends to recede out of the spotlight as often as he can to keep a low profile. This has to do with his parent's dislike of the NEXT generation. Knowing he cannot confide in the two people closest to him about his own developing powers, puts him under a lot of stress. Often, he feels lonely. ■ Bad Case of Narcolepsy Koda's powers express themselves the most when he's dreaming. Because of this, he's almost terrified of sleeping and can only think of so many excuses to his parents for all the noise. So, he keeps himself busy and awake through the night as often as he can. But a boy needs his sleep, and his body likes to remind him of that by giving him dizzy spells or promptly forcing him to pass out if he gets a second to relax. This can be dangerous if he's caught snoozing in the daytime, because you can bet some inanimate object will be spinning in circles nearby. He has two parents that love him very much and he them. He was a straight A student and life seemed getting along very well down a wealthy successful path. The world rotated on as it did where he would go to school, pass tests and turn in homework, come home to his parents hissing about NEXTs, eat a nice homemade dinner that he often prepared, and go to bed to do it all over again the next morning. It was simple, scheduled, and there was no room for the unexpected. However, one morning, he woke up to a rather unusual and troubling situation. His eyes had opened, and he rolled over as he usually did, to discover various objects in his room were floating and twirling through the air of their own violation. It was only until he realized what he was seeing did everything sudden cease and drop to the floor as if their puppet strings were cut. The first time that happened, was little over a year ago. Between then and now, they would happen often, time and again. Waking up to find his room a mess because of objects suddenly having the will to get up and cartwheel to the other side while he dreamt was only the beginning. Soon he would find any time his blood pressure rose or he was really depressed, things would move toward or away from him depending on what he felt. His powers were developing quickly, and there was no point in denying what was happening to him. Koda was a NEXT. Is a NEXT. That would be great and he would be curiously eager to explore it if there wasn't a bit of a problem. His parents were extreme anti-NEXTs. Yes, his parents are a pair of those kind of people. The people that call NEXTs freaks and mutations of the human race. It was ironic, yes, but Koda could not bear to see the look of disgust and anger on his parents' faces if they ever found out that their own son was one of them. So he keeps quiet. To this day, he goes to great lengths to cover up his own mishaps when his powers go rampant. For now, it will just be his dirty little secret. At most, he can only move things that he would be able to lift normally. Because it is still developing, he has very little to no control. weaknesses. ■ Lack of control When under extreme moments of stress or when exhibiting powerful emotions (i.e. anger), his ability tends to kick in and shake things around him. Nightmares are an excellent example of this; he often wakes up to his room looking like an earthquake hit. ■ Limited Because of the minimal amount of control he has, when he does manage to use it, it takes a great amount of his energy to move anything. When he does trigger his power, its never just one thing that's moving. The longer he keeps the objects moving, the quicker he will tire out. At most, he can only hold something for less than three minutes.
