He's loyal to hell and back. He's often the last one to give up on someone he trusts, but the first to trust someone. Not to say that his trust is easily earned, trust is not something handed out. If he senses something wrong with you, he'll hound you until you tell him, which is in itself a positive and negative. He likes to make sure that everyone he works with is in tip top condition. He's also one of those guys who'd help you get that girl you've been eyeing. ■ Perceptive- Angelus's no dummy. He pays attention to his surroundings always, ok mostly. He's one of those people who studied body language so he'd know who was lying when and the such. ■ Inventive- Angelus is a bit like a jack of most trades. He's a master of some, rubbish with some, and pretty good in most. He makes up for what he's bad at by coming up with insane ideas to accomplish something that required one thing without using it. ■ Protective- Angelus is very protective of his loved ones, in particular, his wife. He's the type of guy who'd break your fingers if you hit on his wife. Not out of jealousy. Out of dignity. He doesn't stand for insults, especially aimed at his wife. negative points. ■ Nosy- As stated, Angelus can be very nosy, even if he means the right thing. He'll get into your business, even if there's no room, and will make sure you're ok before leaving. But he still has no room being there. ■ Irritable- Angelus, as said, is the kind of guy who'd break someone's fingers if they hit on his wife, then probably beat the hell out of the guy's friends. He tends to keep a rather level head, but, if provoked, all hell and destruction is let loose. There are few things that can calm him down. His wife is one. ■ Often too relaxed- Angelus tries his best to keep a level head, but often is found lounging and not taking some fights very seriously. He knows that his life is on the line, but why take them seriously when he knows he's going to win. ■ Quick to jump to conclusions- Angelus is very much a man who likes to get things done quickly. Unfortunately, jumping to a conclusion is faster and easier. He'll continue his search for the truth if told he is wrong, but it'll always be a possibility in his mind. ■ Easily Addicted- Smoking would probably be the death of Angelus. He'd almost instantly become addicted to the things and wouldn't be able to put them down. Things people call "addicting" tend to attract Angelus, so he relies on his own common sense to stay away from them. However, he was brought up rather well. Everyone in his neighborhood was his "family". Every Sunday the people of his neighborhood would get together and everyone would bring what they could. Together, they'd make enough food to feed everyone. It was a happy existence. That is until a company tried to buy up the land. Angelus was 6 when he discovered how to use his powers, but was apparently much younger when he actually unlocked them. Angelus began to act as a defender of the neighborhood, trying to scare off the company by using his powers to do little things. Push cars using the car's own shadow. Make CEO's shadows look like monsters. Little practical jokes. This went on for 2 years but... It didn't work. At age 8, Angelus Tenebrae and his parents found themselves homeless. The family were forced to beg for food or scrape together small jobs to buy even small bits of food. But their saving grace was soon to come. When Angelus was 9, a man was stumbling down their alleyway and he tripped over Angelus's mother and followed that with a "Get out of my way". That was a mistake. The boy jumped up and pinned the man to the wall with his own shadow, luckily for him, his friend came along. His friend was the CEO of a certain company that needed a Hero to be in a city far away in the developing city of Atlantis. The CEO had plenty of time to groom the young boy into a hero, so he took Angelus and his family in and the grooming began. First started with education. The young boy could barely afford schooling when he was growing up, so he got the opportunity to advance his schooling at a "highfalutin" school. Basically, his education was a cram course. But by God did he study hard. Angelus focused on his studies like his life depended on it. Then his life took a turn for the interesting. He started to have to train his abilities and his body. He took up swordplay to focus his mind and body as one. He took up numerous sports and hobbies to train his body in preparation for being a "Hero". For being the Nightweaver. The day finally came when Angelus was sent to Atlantis to be a Hero. His parents stayed back in his birthplace and lived off of part of his paycheck. First day in the city he met his future companions and rivals. The other heroes of Atlantis. Only one of them seemed to matter to him. Ms. Lillian. The two hit it off and started going out. Going out turned to love. Love turned to marriage. The two were married for 3 months by the time the first episode of Hero TV aired.... The rest. Well.. The rest is to be written later. Basically there to stop him from hitting the ground too hard. brief description. ■ Angelus's power (Shadow Manipulation) grants him the ability to control his shadow as well as any shadow "connected" to his. Connected meaning Angelus's shadow must cross another shadow at one place or another. From the shadows he can make them solidify and obey his commands in one way or simply manipulate a shadow to create an illusion. lists of known moves. ■ Dark Ball - Simply, Angelus hurls a ball of darkness at his opponent. The ball itself can do one of three things. 1) act as a binding ability and wrap around the target, 2) act as a ball should when it hits someone and just do damage, or 3) "explode" and shoot spikey needles in all directions away from Angelus. ■ Shadow Web - Angelus can use a shadow he's connected to in one way or the other to create needles or anything he needs from it, if it's an opponent's shadow, he can have it reach up and grab them or stab them with a shadow blade. He MUST be connected to the shadow somehow though. This can also be used defensively to cover him up in a shadow blanket or create a wall of darkness. ■ Shadow Blade - Angelus can solidify his shadow into a sword/dagger's shape for combat. This offers him a nonlethal (as it doesn't have the sharpness of a sword) extension of his arm to fight with. Plus he is a much better swordsman than fist fighter. ■ Shadow Hand - Angelus can use his shadow to reach out and grab someone. His shadow takes the shape of an arm and hand to reach out and catch people or grab people and things. Or punch someone. It works that way too. ■ Dark Angel - This is Angelus's signature move. When he uses it, his shadow takes the shape of enormous black wings. He can use them to bat people off or even glide if need be.
